My goodness I was not expecting this small place to have such a good sub. Of course I walk in all brand new and again, want everything so I got a honey mustard chicken sub on wheat and a steak taco. The taco was...eh....a little too bland and dry...but I'm from Texas and have high expectations. But that sub though, WINNING. I cannot wait to go back and I'm going to get a foot long just because!

You'd never know it from the outside but they make a great Steak and Cheese sub. Just keep in mind there is a difference between a 'Cheesesteak' of the Philly variety and a Steak and Cheese sub.

Just came here during my lunch hour. I had a steak sub. First, the steak had good flavor but was pure cartilage in every single bite. Completely ruined the sub for me, I probably left half the meat on the plate (not that there was much to begin with). I don't know how this place has 4 stars to be honest, I doubt I will be coming back here.

Really really good subs. I rarely get to eat here as often as I would like because they close in the early evening-and four on the weekends I believe. I love the bbq chicken sub. I would give them four stars-based on that sub alone to be honest. The place itself is just okay. Nothing fancy but a good spot to get a nice sandwich. I've only ever had the subs. The white bread is soft and yummy. Ingredients taste fresh. The hours could be better. The chairs were already up on my visit and it may have been hardly 4:30pm. Good thing I wasn't planning on dining in I guess... The guy who made my sandwich was cool. Younger dude. Helped me avoid putting peppers where they didn't belong!

One of the better subs place around. Definitely better than Subway and Quiznos. Had a cheese steak and it was excellent. The prices are unbeatable and the selection is extensive. Loved the fact that my first selection was the chicken bomb and the guy behind the counter recommended me otherwise. He looked at me straight and told "If you really want it I'll make it, but chicken not very good today, anything else is better." That kind of honesty is hard to come by on the restaurant business or anywhere.

I really like this sub place! It has some of the best hot subs around. Better than Subway or Quiznos; although the subs are pricier than the aforementioned places, it is well worth the extra $1 or $2. I went here for lunch today; never disappointed. I usually order the turkey sub with everything minus salt & pepper. Also, their bread is very soft, tender & fresh. They always use the best bread. Customer service is good here; very friendly employees & the owner is easy to talk to.

Ok - so I'll admit I'm a regular here, and I'm a little biased. But Todd's Subs is the best place to get a sub in Miami, hands down. Forget Hungry Bear, Subrageous, and all those other places. Todd has been doing this for like 20 years, same place, same style. He's usually there to make your sandwich, even to this day. Go early for lunch, because there are two consuls next door, and it gets backed up. I recommend the chicken sanwich and the philly cheesesteak - just get something hot. Every element is grilled to perfection, cheese melted, fresh bread, food cooked exactly the way you want it. Sandwich people - give Todd's a try, you won't regret it.

Wow, has this place gone down hill in a hurry. I was a HUGE fan of this place; been many, many times in the last three years. I just had the worst meal, possibly, of my life, which is shocking, because a) it included a cheesesteak and a taco from one of my formerly favorite spots, and b) I've had some bad meals in my day. To start, somewhat irrelevantly, the menu board read "Authentic Mexican Tacos - incl. onions, cilantro and salsa." Sounds right. I'll have one. Um... So, there's lettuce, cheddar cheese and tomatoes... So, none of the things on the menu and all things (other than the tomato) that are not Authentic Mexican. Oh, and it was dry, bland and the meat was improperly broken down. But let's be real, we didn't come here for the Tacos, and a guy named Todd selling sandwiches in Florida shouldn't really be expected to have Authentic Mexican Tacos. We came here for the CHEESESTEAK! Now seems like a good time to say, in fairness to Todd, that I did show up outside the lunch hour and Todd, or whomever the boss is, wasn't there. A young woman prepared the food and a young man rang me up. So, problem #1: Ratios. Very little meat. Even less cheese. Just a few onions. Way too much bread. #2: Quality. The bread was not what I remember from previous trips. That may be because they've changed bakers or vendors, or, more likely, the fluffiness and lack of flakiness was brought into sharp focus by failures in the ratio department (See #1). The meat was in very large pieces, too large for me, very dry, and not a lot flavor. I didn't ask, but the cheese almost tasted Swiss (not a good thing), but I couldn't really tell because there wasn't very much of it. This sandwich should have been dripping or at least the bread should have been a little discolored by the meat and cheese... nothing but wonder bread. #3: Flavor. Care to guess? I will go back because I want to give them another chance. I will go back because I have faith in Todd. I will go back during the lunch hour because I think the off-hours staff is likely the problem. But this was such a disappointing, horrific (horrific because I need my cheesesteaks, and without Todd's, I am lost adrift in a sea of sanduches and arepas) experience that it needed to be shared. I hereby do solemnly swear to retract it all in an overwhelmingly enthusiastic follow-up should Todd redeem himself. Until then, it's a 1-star shop.

Small business with big sandwiches. Ordered the Chicken Bomb with jalapeños and was nothing short of elated at what I received. The bread was really soft, but in a good way. Chicken was fresh and hot on the bun. The jalapeños - HOT; just like I like them. Grade A sandwich.

Todd's Subs is a no-frills hole in the wall across the street from the train. We live in the area and we were desperate for any food within walking distance. Needless to say we were more than impressed. We ordered the cheesesteaks and carnitas soft tacos and both were very tasty. The cheesesteaks were decadent without being too greasy and the bread was soft and delicious. The price difference between the 6" and 12" is only $1, so we got a ton of food for under $20. We'll be back to try the other things they have to offer soon!

Fortunate to have Todd's Subs right next to my place of work. Best subs in Miami bar none. Bread is soft and delicious, all the ingredients are fresh as fresh can get, and Todd himself is just a cool dude.

Went for the first time yesterday after seeing Jeremy Shockey tweet about it. Would have never found this otherwise. Odd location but totally delicious. Best cheesesteak I've ever had. Everything is very fairly priced at $7. You can't beat it.
